Good Places to Eat in Boiling Springs

Where do you want to eat?

"Where do you want to eat?"
"I don't care, where do you want to eat?"
"I don't know, what are you in the mood for?"

If you're family is anything like ours, you've had this conversation numerous times only to end up at the same places over and over again.  Chris and Eli are more adventurous than I, so they try the new places and then take me if they think I will oblige.  Sometimes I am hesitant because Chris will eat a hot dog sold by a guy that has the hot dogs in a cooler in the back of his truck in the grocery store parking lot.

One evening Chris and Eli were on their own to find dinner and decided on Taco Grill in Boiling Springs.  They came home so excited about their find and wanting to take me back with them the very next night!  I was hesitant because I usually stick to franchise type eateries, but they kept on and on about how great the food was. So the next evening (don't judge because we eat out 2 nights in a row!) we headed for Taco Grill.

As I entered I saw a very tidy restaurant and one smiling guy behind the counter.  He asked what we wanted.  I decided to play it safe and order a chicken quesadilla with sour cream, my usual for a Mexican restaurant.  As we waited, Eli was able to brush up on his Spanish by watching the t.v. playing only Spanish-speaking shows.  Then the food came and it smelled wonderful!  I am glad to announce I have found my new and favorite place for Mexican food!  It was delicious!

I love to see small local businesses thrive and this one should because of the taste and service!  You have to try it and let me know what you think!!
